| Description | Erect, undershrub, 30-60cm high, stem and branches terete, ashy and pubescent. Leaves: sessile, very coriaceous, 25-27 x 0.6-1.6cm, oblong or lanceolate, obtuse apiculate arranged at the base, finely ashy, pubescent on both sides. Flowers: capitula terminal; stalk upto 0.2 cm long; involucre bracts numerous, outer ones oblong, pubescent, apex acute, margins ciliate, tips often divided into 1-2 shallow lobes; inner ones linear, accute; ray-florets 0.4 cm long, fertile, pappus plumose, style slender, exserted; disc-florets few, 0.5 cm long, pappus 0.4 cm long, connate at base; corolla white-creamish or pale-yellow; anthers appendiculate at apex, style 0.4 cm long, 2-fid. Fruits: cypsels oblong, 0.05cm long, smooth. Flowers and fruits appears during August-April. | ||||||||||||||||||
