BRADYRHIZOBIUM EMBRAPENSE

Class: Alpha Proteobacteria
Genus: Bradyrhizobium
Species: Bradyrhizobium embrapense
Description: Cells are Gram-negative, non-spore-forming rods. Colonies are 0.93–1.15 mm in diameter, circular, convex, translucent, with low production of mucus and slightly pink when grown in YMA medium containing Congo red after 7 days of growth at 28℃. Produces an alkaline reaction in YMA containing bromothymol blue. The generation time is 7.49 h in YM broth. Grows at pH 4.5–8.0, with optimal growth at pH 6.8.
