BRADYRHIZOBIUM MANAUSENSE
| Class: | Alpha Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Bradyrhizobium |
| Species: | Bradyrhizobium manausense |
| Description: | Bradyrhizobium manausense, isolated from effective nodules of Vigna unguiculata grown in Brazilian Amazonian rainforest soils.Cells are motile, Gram-stain-negative rods (approximately1.80.5mm), aerobic and non-spore-forming .Colonies on YMA medium are circular and translucent, and have a diameter of 1 mm within 5–7 days of incubationat 28℃. The generation time is 7.8 h in YM broth. The pHrange for growth in YMA is pH 4–8, with optimal growthat pH 5.0–7.0. Growth occurs between 15℃ and 32℃,with optimal growth at 28–30℃. |
