BREVUNDIMONAS TERRAE
| Class: | Alpha Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Brevundimonas |
| Species: | Brevundimonas terrae |
| Description: | Brevundimonas terrae,Cells are Gram-negative, aerobic rods (0.4–0.6×1.0–3.0µm). Motile by means of a single polar flagellum.Colonies on TSA are circular, smooth, glistening, slightly convex, greyish-yellow in colour and 2.0–3.0 mm in diameter after 3 days incubation at 30℃. Optimal temperature for growth is 30℃; growth occurs at 4 and37℃, but not at 38℃. Optimal pH for growth is between7.5 and 8.0; growth occurs at pH 6.5 and 10.0, but not at pH 6.0 or 10.5. |
