| Description: | Devosia chinhatensis,Cells are Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming and motile with a single flagellum. Colonies arecream in colour, circular, with entire margin and 0.5–2 mm in size when grown on LB agar plates for 3 days.Growth ranges of temperature, pH and NaCl concentrationare 5–40℃, pH 5–9 and 0–3 %, respectively. Positive forassimilation of glucose,L-arabinose, mannitol,D-mannoseand maltose. Cells are positive for catalase, oxidase, urease,b-galactosidase and aesculin hydrolysis. |
