Description: Gluconacetobacter rhaeticus,Cells are Gram-negative,coccoid,approximately 0.9×1.5-2.5 micrometer in size,occuring singly,in pairs or in short chains.Cells are non-motile.Endospores are not detected.Colonies are beige,regular,convex and rough with a diameter of 1.0mm on standard medium.Oxidase-negative and catalase-positive.
