Description: Hirschia litorea,Cells are Gram-negative, non-spore-forming and non-flagellated. Vegetative cells produce a prostheca and reproduce by budding. Cells are cocci, ovals or rods, approximately0.4–0.8µm wide and 0.4–4.5µm long. Colonies on MA are circular, convex, smooth, glistening, orange yellow and 0.7–1.0 mm in diameter after incubation for 7 days at 25℃.
