Description: Mesorhizobium albiziae,a novel bacterium that nodulates Albizia kalkora in a subtropical region of China .Gram-negative, aerobic, motile, non-spore-forming rods,0.3–0.5µm wide by 1–3µm long. Colonies on YMA are circular, convex, white, opaque and usually 1–2 mm in diameter within 5–7 days at 28℃. The generation time is7–8 h in PY broth at 28℃.
