| Description: | Mesorhizobium alhagi, isolated from wild Alhagi sparsifolia in north-western China.Gram-negative, non-spore-forming rods, aerobic, motile,0.5–0.7µm wide by 1.3–1.5µmlong Colonies on YMA (10.0 g mannitol, 3.0 g yeast extract, 0.25 g K2HPO4, 0.2 g MgSO4.7H2O, 0.1 g NaCl,20 g agar, 1000 ml distilled water; pH 6.8–7.0) are white,opaque, circular and convex with diameter of 1–2 mm within 7 days at 28℃. |
