| Class: | Alpha Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Mesorhizobium |
| Species: | Mesorhizobium shonense |
| Description: | Mesorhizobium shonense,Cells are Gram-negative, motile, rod-shaped, 0.34±0.05mm wide by 2.59±0.48mm long. Colonies on YMA are white,opaque, with a generation time of about 6 h.
