| Class: | Alpha Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Mesorhizobium |
| Species: | Mesorhizobium silamurunense |
| Description: | Mesorhizobium silamurunense, isolated from root nodules of Astragalus species.Cells are Gram-negative, aerobic, motile, non-spore-forming rods, 1.2–1.8µm wide by 2.1–4.2µm long. Colonies on YMA plates are circular, convex, white and opaque, usually1–2 mm in diameter within 5–7 days of incubation at 28℃. The optimum temperature and pH for growth are 28℃ and pH 7, respectively. |
