Class: Alpha Proteobacteria
Genus: Methylopila
Species: Methylopila capsulata
Description: Methylopila capsulata,a novel non-pigmented aerobic facultatively methylotrophic bacterium.Colonies grown on nutrient agar or glucose-potato agar are round ; viscous, semitransparent, convex, even edged, 2 mm in diameter.
