| Description: | Oceanicola antarcticus,moderately halophilic bacteria isolated from seawater.Cells are short, rod-shaped (0.5–0.8µm wide and 0.8–1.3µm long) and stain Gram-negative. Colonies on MA are 2 mm in diameter, circular, smooth, flat and cream-coloured after 3 days at 35℃. No growth occurs in the absence of NaCl. |
