Description: Cells are 0.7–1.6µm wide and 0.4–0.8µ m long. Colonies are 0.7–1.5 mm in diameter, uniformlycircular, convex and opaque. Temperature range forgrowth is 4–40℃, optimum 30℃. pH range for growth is 6.0–9.0, optimum 7.5–8.0. Grows at 0.75–10.0% NaCl .Catalase-and urease-positive.
