| Class: | Alpha Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Roseovarius |
| Species: | Roseovarius gaetbuli |
| Description: | Roseovarius gaetbuli, a novel alphaproteobacterium isolated from a tidal flat sediment.A Gram-negative, aerobic, non-motile and ovoid or rod-shaped bacterial strain, designated YM-20T, was isolated from a tidal flat of the Yellow Sea in South Korea. Strain YM-20T was found to grow optimally at 30 °C, at pH 7.0–8.0 and in the presence of 2.0–3.0 % (w/v) NaCl. |
