Class: Alpha Proteobacteria
Genus: Sphingobium
Species: Sphingobium wenxiniae
Description: Cells are Gram-negative, non-spore-forming,non-motile a rod-shaped(0.5-0.6*0.7-1.0 micrometer).Colonies on LB agar are circular,opaque,yellow and convex with entire margins.Grows in 0-4%(w/v)Nacl(optimum 1%),at pH 6-9 (optium pH 7-8).
