| Description: | Cells are Gram-negative, non-spore-forming,non-motile a rod-shaped(0.5-0.6*0.7-1.0 micrometer).Colonies on LB agar are circular,opaque,yellow and convex with entire margins.Grows in 0-4%(w/v)Nacl(optimum 1%),at pH 6-9 (optium pH 7-8). Positive for catalase,glucose acidification and assimilation of malate and caprate but negative for oxidase,urease,arginine dihydrolase and beta galactosidase activities, nitrate reduction, indole reaction. |
