Description: Cells are small rods,0.6-0.8×2.0-2.6 micometer.Cells occur singly or sometimes in short chains.Gram-negative as determined by Gram staining,KOH and aminopeptidase tests.Motile,edospores are not observed.Colonies are circular,slightly convex,opaque and orange-pigmented.
