Description: Sphingomonas formosensis, a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon-degrading bacterium.Cells are Gram-negative,short rod-shaped,1.4 micrometer in length and 0.4 micrometer in diameter.Colonies are smooth ,shiny,convex and light-yellow-coloured.The growth temperature ranges from 25 to 37℃.
