Description: Spingomonas lacus,cells are Gram-staining-negative,non-spore-forming,occuring as single and paired short chains of 0.3-0.4 micrometer in diameter and 0.4-0.8micrometer in length.Gliding motility is not observed.Colonies are circular and yellow-orange.
