SPHINGOPYXIS SOLI
| Class: | Alpha Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Sphingopyxis |
| Species: | Sphingopyxis soli |
| Description: | A Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, motile, oxidase-positive, catalase-negative bacterium, designated strain BL03(T), was isolated from landfill soil in Pohang, Republic of Korea. Colonies on Luria-Bertani agar plates were yellow. The strain grew in the presence of 0-3 % (w/v) NaCl, at 15-42 degrees C and at pH 5.0-9.5. |
