| Genus: | Acidovorax |
| Species: | Acidovorax wautersii |
| Description: | Acidovorax wautersii,Three Gram-negative strains, NF 1078(T), NF 1598 and NF 1715, were isolated from clinical (two) and environmental (one) samples, respectively.Gram-negative rods morphologically fitting the description of the genus Acidovorax i.e. 0.2–0.7µm by 1.0–5.0µm.Aerobic growth occurs on trypticase soy agar at 20 and37℃, but not at 42℃.
