| Description: | Advenella alkanexedens,Cells are Gram-stain-negative, 0.6 to 0.8µm in diameter,catalase and oxidase-positive, non-motile and coccoid-shaped. After incubation for 36 h colonies on NA andTSA plates are slightly yellow to light brown in colour,smooth and circular with regular margins. The temperature range for growth is 4–52℃ with an optimum at 30 to35℃. The pH range for growth is pH 5.1–9.7 with optimal growth at pH 8.5. |
