Description: Burkholderia andropogonis,Gram-negative, slender rods with rounded ends, 0.5-0.7 x 1-2 μm, with one or rarely two polar flagella.Butyrous to viscid colonies. No fluorescent pigment produced.Obligately aerobic, optimal growth temperature 30-35 ºC. Can grow at 40 ºC.
