| Description: | Cells are Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, motile, oval-or rod-shaped, 0.4–0.5µm in diameter and 0.8–2.0µm length. Colonies on R2A agar are circular, slightly convex,smooth, glistening and yellow in colour. Good growth is observed on R2A agar at 28–32℃. Growth occurs at 8–37℃, but not at 4 or 42℃. Optimal pH for growth is 7.0. |
