| Description: | Arcobacter cibarius is a species of Gram-negative, rod-shaped, slightly curved, nonspore-forming bacteria. LMG 21996T (=CCUG 48482T) is its type strain.Cells are slightly curved, Gram-negative rods that are 1.5 µm long and 0.5 µm wide. They form whitish, low convex, non-swarming, smooth-rounded colonies with entire margins that are about 2 mm in diameter on blood agar after 72 h incubation at 28o C. |
