Description: Colonies are circular, convex, slightly mucoid, and 1.5 to 2.0 mm in diameter after 48 h of incubation. Colonies scraped from plates appear yellow and do not swarm on moist medium.
Synonyms:
Source: Strains were isolated from the intestines of pigs with proliferative enteritis in Minnesota, Montana,Wisconsin, Iowa, and Scotland. They were also isolated from bovine feces and a hamster intestine.
