Description: Colonies on tryptocasein soy agar are circular, convex, smooth, and slightly opaque with entire margins; colonies are 0.5 to 1.5 mm in diameter after 24 h and 2.5 to 3.5 mm in diameter after 48 h at 30°C. Good growth occurs at15 to 37°C in 1 day. No growth occurs at 41°C and above.
