Description: Colonies on tryptocasein soy agar are circular, convex,smooth, and slightly opaque with entire margins and sometimes have a sticky consistency. Colonies are 1.5 to 2.0 mm in diameter after 24 h and 3.5 to 4.0 mm in diameter after 48 h at 30°C. No growth factor is required. Good growth occurs at 15 to 37°C. No growth occurs at 41°C.
