Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Aquimonas
Species: Aquimonas voraii
Description: Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, mesophilic, motile rods, occurring singly or in pairs. Colonies on TSBA after 3 days of incubation at 30°C appear circular, yellowish-brown,glistening and convex, with undulated margins. Cells are 1.5–4.5μm long and 0.3–0.4μm wide.
