AZOMONAS AGILIS
| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Azomonas |
| Species: | Azomonas agilis |
| Description: | This species has large, ovoid, ellipsoidal, or coccoid cells, often giving it a protist-like appearance. Cells are sedom found in paIRS.Cells are usually 2.5-6.4 μm long and 2-2.8 μm wide:sometimes giant cells upto 10.0-13.5 μm long have been observed. The cells are motile by means of peritrichous flagella. No microcysts are formed. |
