Description: Cells are rounded-ended rods,occurring singly or in pairs.Mean cell dimensions are 3.0-4.5 μm x 1.5-2.4 μm wide.Cells are motile with numerous peritrichous flagella,very rarely some are nonmotile.Colonies are non pigmented.They excrete a yellow-green,fluorescent,water soluble pigment into the medium.
