| Description: | Gram-negative, short rods (0.8x1–1.3μm), facultatively anaerobic, oxidase-negative and catalase-positive. Cells occur singly and are motile by means of peritrichous flagella (determined by TEM). Colonies are pale cream on nutrient agar, round, convex and smooth with entire margins. |
