Description: Cells are Gram-reaction-negative, straight rods, 0.4–0.8 x 1.0–3.0μm and motile by means of peritrichous flagella. Grows on solid media producing a thin uniform film. Haemolysis occurs on blood agar.Optimal growth temperature is 37°C.
