| Description: | Cells are Gram-negative, aerobic, non-spore-forming, non-motile and rod-shaped. Colonies grown on R2A agar plates for 2 days are smooth, circular,convex and yellowish.Growth is observed at 15 and 42°C but not at 4 or 45°C.Minimum pH for growth lies between 5.5 and 6.0, optimum pH is 6.5–7.0 and the maximum pH lies between 9.5 and 10.0. |
