DOKDONELLA SOLI
| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Dokdonella |
| Species: | Dokdonella soli |
| Description: | Cells are aerobic, Gram-negative, non-motile rods (0.4–0.5μm wide and 1.4–4.5μm long). Oxidase-positive and catalase-negative. Colonies on R2A are yellow, convex and round with clear margins. Growth occurs at 5–35°C (optimally at 30°C) and pH 5–8 (optimally at pH 6–7).NaCl is not required for growth but growth occurs at NaCl concentrations up to 1 %. |
