| Description: | Cells are Gram-stain-negative, aerobic, oxidase- and catalase-positive rods (0.3–0.5μm in width and 0.8–1.3μm in length)and motile by means of a single polar flagellum. Colonies on TYS agar incubated for 3–7 days at 30°C are cream-coloured,circular (0.8–1.6 mm in diameter) and convex with smooth surface. |
