Description: Cells are 1.6±0.3μm long and 0.5±0.2μm wide, with single polar flagella. The G+C content of the type strain is 61 mol%. Growth occurs at 10–37°C (optimum, 25–30°C), at pH 5.0–9.0 (optimum,pH 8.0).
