HALOCHROMATIUM GLYCOLICUM

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Halochromatium
Species: Halochromatium glycolicum
Description: Cells are straight to slightly curved rods, multiply by binary fission; motile by polar flagella. Cells occur singly or in pairs. Gram-negative.
