Description: Strictly aerobic and heterotrophic. Cells are Gram-negative,non-spore-forming rods (0.7–0.8μm wide and 1.0–1.5μm long). Divides by binary fission. Motile by means of a single polar flagellum. After 2 days at 30°C on R2A agar,colonies are transparent, non-pigmented, non-diffuse,smooth, circular, convex and 1–2 mm in diameter.
