IDIOMARINA AQUIMARIS
| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Idiomarina |
| Species: | Idiomarina aquimaris |
| Description: | Cells are Gram-negative, aerobic rods (0.7–0.9×1.2–2.0 µm) that are motile by means of a single polar flagellum. Colonies on MA are light yellow, circular and convex, with entire edges, and measure 0.6–0.8 mm in diameter after 48 h incubation at 30 °C. Growth occurs at 10–45 °C (optimum between 20 and 30 °C), with 0.5–15 % (w/v) NaCl (optimum between 3 % and 4 %) and at pH 6–11 (optimum between pH 7 and pH 8). |
