Description: Cells are Gram-staining-negative, motile rods (0.9–1.9 x 0.3–0.4μm) with a single polar flagellum. Growth occurs at the following conditions: temperature range (15–40°C),pH 5–9 and 0–2 % (w/v) NaCl. Optimal growth occurs at 28–32°C, pH 7–8 and in the presence of 1 % NaCl(w/v).
