Description: Cells are Gram-stain-negative, filamentous, non-motile rods, 2–10μm long and 0.5–0.6μm in diameter. Colonies are circular, smooth and fresh yellow in colour after 2 days of incubation on MA. Grows at 20–37°C and pH 6.0–9.0 and tolerates 4 % (w/v) NaCl.
