| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Luteimonas |
| Species: | Luteimonas soli |
| Description: | Cells are Gram-stain-negative, strictly aerobic, rod-shaped(0.3–0.5 x 1.4–2.0μm) when cultured on LB agar at 30°C for 12 h, non-spore-forming, non-flagellated and non-motile. Colonies are approximately 1–2 mm in diameter, smooth, circular, convex and yellow after cultivation for 48 h on LB agar at 30°C. Growth occurs at 10–37°C,but not at 5 or 42°C. The optimal temperature for growth was 30°C. |
