LYSOBACTER ARSENICIRESISTENS

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Lysobacter
Species: Lysobacter arseniciresistens
Description: Gram-negative and strictly aerobic. Cells are motile and rod-shaped (0.3–0.5μm wide and 1.5–2.2μm long, with one flagellum). Colonies are convex, circular, smooth, non-transparent and yellow after 3 days incubation on R2A agar at 28°C. Grows on LB agar, R2A and trypticase soy agar(Difco), but does not grow on MacConkey agar (Difco).
