| Description: | Cells are Gram-negative, non-motile, non-spore-forming rods. Colonies are yellow on R2A agar. Catalase- and oxidase-positive. Grows at 18–42°C (optimum 37°C), at pH 7–11 (optimum pH 8) and with 0–2 % NaCl (optimum 1 % NaCl). |
