Description: Growth of cells occurs at salinities in the range 0–15 % (w/v) NaCl (optimum 1–3 % w/v). Oxidase-negative. Grows at between 10 and 45°C (optimum 35–40°C) and from pH 6.0 to 10.5 (optimum pH 7.0–7.5).
