| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Marinobacter |
| Species: | Marinobacter confluentis |
| Description: | Cells are Gram-stain-negative, non-spore-forming, rod-shaped (approximately 0.2–0.4μm in width and 0.5–2.5μm in length), and motile by means of a single polar flagellum.
