MARINOBACTER CONFLUENTIS

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Marinobacter
Species: Marinobacter confluentis
Description: Cells are Gram-stain-negative, non-spore-forming, rod-shaped (approximately 0.2–0.4μm in width and 0.5–2.5μm in length), and motile by means of a single polar flagellum. Colonies on MA are circular, slightly convex, smooth, glistening, yellowish-white and 1.0–2.0 mm in diameter after incubation for 5 days at 30°C.
