| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Paraperlucidibaca |
| Species: | Paraperlucidibaca baekdonensis |
| Description: | Cells are 0.3–0.4μm wide and 1.0–3.5μm long. Colonies are circular, raised, smooth, semi-transparent, yellowish white and 0.5–1.0 mm in diameter after incubation on R2A agar at 20°C for 7 days. Optimal growth is at 20°C; growth occurs at 10–30°C but not at 4 or 37°C. Optimal growth is at pH 7.5–8.0; growth occurs at pH 6.0 but not at pH 5.5. |
