PHOTOBACTERIUM GAETBULICOLA

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Photobacterium
Species: Photobacterium gaetbulicola
Description: Cells are Gram-negative, motile, non-spore-forming and rod- or oval-shaped (0.4–1.0 x 1.0–5.0μm). After incubation on MA at 30°C for 3 days, colonies are circular to irregular, flat, smooth, glistening, greyish-yellow and 4.0–6.0 mm in diameter. Growth occurs at 10 and 40°C(optimum 30°C), but not at 4 or 45°C.
