PHOTOBACTERIUM PANULIRI

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Photobacterium
Species: Photobacterium panuliri
Description: A facultative anaerobe, alkalitolerant, gram-negative marine bacterium. Heterotrophic growth was observed at 15–38 °C and pH 5.5–11. Optimum growth occurred at 28 °C and pH 7.5. It can grow in the presence of 0.5–7 % NaCl (w/v), and the optimal NaCl required for growth was 2–4 %.
